Sopir Taksi dan Pandemi

Kemarin pagi saya pergi ke laboratorium dekat rumah untuk periksa darah. Seusai periksa darah saya pulang naik taxi. 
 
Baru saja duduk di dalam taxi, supirnya berkata, “alhamdulillah akhirnya saya dapat mengantar ibu, sejak jam 3 subuh tadi baru ibu aja penumpangnya.” 
Lalu dia bertanya lagi, “ibu mau diantar kemana?”
 
“Kemana ya pak? Niatnya mau pulang, tapi saya kok ingin muter-muter Jakarta saja, bosan di rumah terus. Jalan saja dulu pak,” ucapku.
 
Pak supir tertawa sumringah, “siap bu saya antar kemana saja ibu mau, seharian juga boleh,” katanya dengan gembira.
 
Di perjalanan kami mengobrol, dia bercerita betapa sulitnya mendapatkan penumpang di masa pandemi ini. Dia baru bekerja sebagai supir taxi 5 minggu. Pak supir baru dirumahkan di tempat bekerja sebelumnya sebagai supir pribadi. Majikannya memberhentikannya akibat bisnisnya menurun dan tak sanggup menggajinya. 
 
Yang membuat saya terkesan pada pak supir, sepanjang perjalanan berkisah tentang dirinya yang menjalani kesulitan hidup. Tapi dia bercerita dengan ekspresi yang tenang,  disela dengan bercanda dan nada suaranya optimis dan riang. Dia pun berniat dalam waktu dekat ingin membeli mobil pribadi dan berusaha sendiri.
 
Tanpa terasa saya sampai Pluit hehehe... saya berhenti sebentar di supermarket untuk membeli buah-buahan. Saat naik taxi lagi, pak supir bertanya, “ibu mau diantar kemana lagi?” Katanya dengan riang.
 
“Diantar ke rumah saja pak, sudah cukup lama muter-muter di Jakarta,” ujarku. Dan saya lihat argo taxinya sudah cukup untuk pak supir mendapat penghasilannya hari itu. Paling tidak di hari itu dia bisa membawa pulang uang yg cukup untuk keluarganya. 
 
Saat sampai di depan rumah, pak supir berkata lagi, “Bu Dian bila bosan dan ingin diantar jalan-jalan di Jakarta, telpon saya ya Bu.” 
 
Saya pun tertawa kecil mengiyakan. Di situasi sulit seperti saat ini, orang-orang yg berpikir positif dan tetap bersemangat menjalani hidup   adalah orang-orang yg luar biasa. Memotivasi diri sangatlah tidak mudah, pak supir taxi tadi memiliki jiwa yang ikhlas, dia tidak mengeluhkan keadaan tapi sebaliknya dia menyikapinya dengan positif dan malah memotivasi dirinya untuk menjadi lebih baik dan tetap optimis menjalani hidup.
